Despise and Destroy the Magnificence
of Today’s Pastors

Part II

Continuing to look at the ‘elect’ from the Old Testament and seeing the dangers of being without a shepherd, we can also see today what the Pastors are doing to scatter their sincere church members. We learn from Ezekiel 34; Jeremiah 23 as well as the Gospels along with Hebrews and Peter; but the direct application for today comes from Paul, of course, as we see what the Risen Saviour says about Pastors today. It isn’t pretty!

Acts 19 tells us to despise and destroy the magnificence of religion – and the leaders of religion are, of course, the pastors; so, let’s study today’s “beloved” pastors and see why they can be despised and their magnificence destroyed!
