Paul’s Punctuation
Sunday School Reading through Paul’s writings, we see that he has many very long sentences. Knowing the importance of grammar, we can see how these are not bunny trails – these are not run on sentences – these are great additional phrases that have great importance. Here are a few of those long sentences. pp_flashembed( 'powerpress_player_7966', {src: 'http://rightlydivide.info/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/powerpress/FlowPlayerClassic.swf',...

A Paul Good-bye (Part I)
Sunday School What does Paul say to each church as he departs? He has some excellent words – so, I will say the same ‘good-bye’ to Touchet as did Paul. Again, because of the moving, there are no notes, but just check with us the last few verses at the end of each book of Paul’s. You will be ‘grace be with, etc.’ but you will also notice some great direction to...

In Your Own Words (Part I)
Sunday School Not meaning to lessen the importance and power of the Scriptures, but how are you at explaining ‘truth’ in your own words in casual conversation? Here are some topics for you to consider. pp_flashembed( 'powerpress_player_7969', {src: 'http://rightlydivide.info/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/powerpress/FlowPlayerClassic.swf', width: 480, height: 24, wmode: 'transparent'...

Consider These Things
Sunday School Here are two things I would ask you to consider: How the Great Commission destroyed Christianity from the foreign mission field, not vice versa. Where much of our grief and sorrow come from – see Ecclesiastes 1:18 pp_flashembed( 'powerpress_player_7971', {src: 'http://rightlydivide.info/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/powerpress/FlowPlayerClassic.swf', width: 480, height: 24,...

Greater Commission Review
Sunday School With some recent additions to the presentation, we reviewed the powerpoint presentation of rightly dividing the word of truth. The same visual presentation, easier to read but without the audio, is available online at Paul’s Greater Commission. In the video/audio, we also take a quick look at a short presentation that explains why Hebrews through Jude are located at the end of the...

Is Jesus ‘Tarrying’ His Rapture Return?
Sunday School You hear the phrase that Jesus is tarrying. Is He? Does He know when He is coming? If so, what is He tarrying on – and for which coming is He tarrying, if any? Then you hear the verse in Hebrews that that says He is not – but to what is that actually referring? pp_flashembed( 'powerpress_player_7976', {src: 'http://rightlydivide.info/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/powerpress/FlowPlayerClassic.swf',...

The Deceitful Tweaking of Paul
Sunday School How can the devil mess with the teachings of Paul? This is a mini-sermon and teaching on Mid-Acts Dispensational folks – some of the nicest folks you will meet. I believe the the main differences between following Paul plainly and simplly from a KJB are very serious. I talk about them in this sermon. For this particular short sermon, there are no notes available – I believe...

Why Do Folks Move Away from the Hope of the Gospel? (Part I)
Sunday School What has happened over the years? How is that folks would ever get to the point where they would ignore the teachings of the risen Saviour? The Bible has many answers to that question. Maybe with some of this understanding, we can help some folks not be moved away from the hope of the Gospel – Paul’s gospel of the Risen Saviour! pp_flashembed( 'powerpress_player_7980', {src:...

Why Men Are Leaving Churches (Part I)
Sunday School In rebuttal to the latest ‘big seller’ in the local religious bookstores, let’s begin to look at the real reason men are leaving the churches today. This morning, we hear some of the reasons our men in our webfamily gave for leaving their church. pp_flashembed( 'powerpress_player_7982', {src: 'http://rightlydivide.info/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/powerpress/FlowPlayerClassic.swf',...
